This Bulova is highly reminiscent of Audemars Piguet's instantly recognisable flagship model, the Royal Oak, designed by Gerald Genta. The Bulova "Royal Oak" ref. 4420101 is the brand's tribute to not only the Royal Oak, but also its designer, who had previously worked for Bulova in the 1960s. It is a well-built watch in its own right, whilst sharing many characteristics with the AP counterparts of the period, with its octagonal bezel, tapisserie dial, integrated bracelet, automatic movement, and "Royal Oak" crown. These watches have become cult collectables pieces in their own right, and offer an iconic look at an attractive price point.

This particular one is a good, original example that is ready to wear. The overall condition is good, with a clean and well-preserved dial, and a sharp case with long bracelet (good news, as links are hard to find). The glass is clean and the original crown is present with some light wear to surface.
