The Cartier Tank Obus was introduced in 1929 and is an unusual take on the classic Tank model, with its square shape and distinctive "bullet" lugs. The lesser-seen and celebrated Obus presents a chic choice for discerning tastes and is certainly an elegant model for both men and women. 

This particular Tank Obus is a Cartier Paris example in 18k solid gold, and dates to the 1980s. It features its original Paris-signed dial, along with all the quintenssential Tank Obus DNA like its square case and distinctive “bullet” lugs. This incarnation of the Obus features a wide bezel with beautiful vivid blue enamel Roman numerals. The watch is twinned to an unsigned black lizard strap with generic pin buckle.

The overall condition of this example is good - in essence the watch is ready to strap to the wrist and enjoy. The dial is original and well-preserved, retaining its nice off-white colour. The case is in generally good condition, although the watch has been worn and as such features surface scratches commensurate with age and use. The glass is in very good condition and free of marks, and the strap is in excellent condition. The watch is working well.
