Condition: In very good condition, original Paris dial is in immaculate, retaining an attractive gloss finish and hue, with no spidering or cracking to the lacquer, small blemish to side of case.
Alex's Comments: The "Jumbo" Tank ref. 17002 is one of the rarer and more desirable iterations of Cartier's 1970s output. Made in small numbers and in an unusually large case size for the period, whilst featuring an automatic movement, these watches have become highly sought-after by collectors. This is a fantastic example, with an immaculate Paris-signed dial that has a light, creamy hue, as well as a strong case with very crisp signatures and numbering. It's twinned to a period Cartier Paris strap with its 18k solid gold pin buckle, and also benefits from a Cartier London service in April 2025. If you are looking for one of these, I can say this is one of the nicest vintage Tank dials I have personally seen in a very long time.
