Condition: In very good, unpolished condition, original Paris dial in excellent, glossy condition, with no spidering or cracking to the lacquer.
Alex's Comments: It's incredibly hard to beat a good Paris Tank. They're very popular and for good reason, being one of the best iterations of one of the all-time classic wristwatches. This is a good example, with an excellent, original, Paris-signed dial that retains a bright, glossy finish, a good case, and the attractive elongated cabochon sapphire crown. When you consider that a new Cartier Tank – with a quartz movement – is £12,500 new from Cartier, a vintage Paris example with all its charm and a mechanical movement at £7,000 is an exceptional proposition. I would personally own and wear this without hesitation.
