The Cartier Tank Solo was introduced in 2004, aimed at offering an affordable and accessible version of the classic Tank Louis (only available in precious metals). With that in mind, the Solo is generally made from steel and features a quartz movement. The Solo retains many of the Cartier Tank signatures, like the classic Roman numeral dial, cabochon sapphire crown, and blued steel hands. They are sized suitably for both men and women, and can be worn everyday.

This reference 3170 is in steel and sized at approx. 24mm by 31mm, which makes it a great unisex size and similar to the traditional Tank Louis or Must de Cartier Tank. Inside is a quartz Cartier movement and it is twinned to a red leather Cartier strap with original steel Cartier deployment clasp.

This watch is a clean example and is ready to wear. The dial is in excellent condition, as is the case with little to no surface scratches, and the glass is free of marks. The Cartier strap is in generally good condition showing some signs of wear as expected, however is very useable going forward. The watch is working well.
