Smiths W10 0552 Royal Navy British Military 1968 Issued
Smiths W10 0552 Royal Navy British Military 1968 Issued
The Smiths W10 was the last mechanical watch made in the United Kingdom to be issued to the British Military, and went on to be used in conflicts all over the world including the Falklands and the first Gulf War. They have since become popular and sought-after watches amongst collectors, and good examples like this one are becoming harder to find.
This particular W10 is a very rare example that was reissued to the Royal Navy, as denoted by its additional "0552" issue markings to the case back. It is an excellent, original and collector-grade example featuring an attractive original dial and hands, and good case.
