The Omega Constellation was first introduced in 1952 and has been one of the brand's quintessential models ever since. The Constellation is recognisable by two key features - the star on the dial above 6 o'clock, and the Observatory of Geneva medallion to the case back crowned by a constellation of eight stars. A vintage Omega Constellation such as this one makes for an excellent, reliable everyday or first vintage watch.

This particular example is the reference ST 176.005 in steel from 1966. It is an attractive and well-preserved one, with a clean original silver dial, steel screw-back case with a nice crisp Constellation medallion, original crown, and its original Omega-signed plexiglass. The watch still retains its original box and paperwork, showing sale at Mappin and Webb here in the UK in November 1966.

The watch is a great, wearable example overall. The original dial is in very good condition showing small signs of age, and the case has some light scratches commensurate with age. The watch is twinned to a generic Italian soft brown calf's leather with unsigned pin buckle.
