Omega have a rich history of producing many beautiful time-only watches in steel, particularly in the 1940s, 50s and 60s. Watches in that period were smaller, typically 33 or 34mm, and many had fairly plain or standard dial and case designs. But this watch certainly does not fit into that category - not all vintage Omegas were born equal.

This is a rare and particularly attractive time-only Omega reference 2663-4 in stainless steel, featuring a large size (37mm) case signed Omega Watch Co and with HF maker's mark, and a stunning two tone hobnail textured dial. Inside is the Omega calibre 344 bumper automatic movement. The watch has an octagonal Omega-signed crown. The watch is also twinned to a vintage Omega black leather strap and steel vintage Omega pin buckle.

Overall this watch is an excellent example of a rare configuration that you will likely not see again. The original hobnail dial is in very good condition, and the case is sharp and unpolished, with some light scratches commensurate with age. The vintage strap is showing some signs of wear.
