A rare and beautiful 18k gold Piaget with manual wind calibre 9P movement, hobnail bezel and lapis lazuli stone dial.
The watch retains its original 18k white gold Piaget pin buckle, along with its leather strap (highly perished and requires replacing). The dial is in superb condition, free of chips and cracks. The case back has been brushed.
Piaget have a rich history of producing fine and stunning watches using ornamental stones - mostly thinly cut for dials, although also stone-set cases - which are becoming increasingly sought-after as collectors begin to finally appreciate their quality and imagination.
