Alex's Comments: The Air King 5500 is one of the staple vintage Rolex references, but this particular example is a cut above, with rare, original honeycomb "Explorer" dial featuring 3-6-9 numerals and "dagger" markers. Well-preserved and unrestored unlike so many of these watches from the period, this very attractive watch is twinned to a lovely brown leather strap and is ready to be enjoyed.
