Softwatch by Exaequo Salvador Dalí Surrealist Watch w/ Box & Papers
Softwatch by Exaequo Salvador Dalí Surrealist Watch w/ Box & Papers
This Salvador Dalí Softwatch by Exaequo is inspired by Dali's painting "The Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory", and features a surrealist case design with Cartier-esque exploded Roman numerals.
This example is in very good condition and comes on its original strap and pin buckle, along with its original box and papers.
The Softwatch was first launched in 1990 and were made for a relatively short period, with Exaequo eventually being closed down in 1998 due to the fact they did not have permission to use Salvador Dalí's name on the watches. Softwatches have become a cult collectable watch given their unique design and history, and also offering a Cartier Crash inspired look for less than 1% of the price.
